Good fishing.
Good people.

Welcome aboard. I'm Captain Dan Faoro, and I've been fishing the waters off Delaware for the better part of fifty years. I run sport fishing charters out of Indian River Marina — half-day inshore trips for sea bass, flounder, and striper, and full-day offshore runs for mahi and tuna.

These trips are run the way I like to fish — small groups, no rush, and a focus on putting people on fish and showing them a good time on the water.

From the Good Grief

Past Trips

Booked a half-day with Dan for my dad's 70th birthday. He had us on flounder before we'd even finished our coffee. The man knows every wreck out there.

— Tom B.

Took our whole family out for a full day offshore. Dan and the mate were patient with the kids, taught them how to work a rod, and we came home with a cooler full of mahi.

— Sarah K.

I've fished out of Indian River for twenty years and Dan's still the guy I call. No nonsense, no upsell — just good fishing with a captain who actually wants you to catch something.

— Mike R.

First time on a sport fishing boat for any of us. Dan made the whole day easy, from the dock to the cleaning table. The Good Grief is a serious boat run by a serious fisherman.

— Jen L.
